Gretchen Addor
Trainer
Gretchen built a career in personal finance, helping people for 20-years. During this time, she tapped into her passion for dogs and raised three puppies for Leader Dogs for the Blind. The desire to have greater involvement with dogs led her back to college, where she obtained her LVT in Veterinary medicine. In 2022, she answered a request from 4 Pawz Strong to help raise and train a puppy. Each puppy is raised in her home alongside her two Labrador Retrievers. She is honored to be a part of a program that prepares dogs for a lifetime of service and support.

Our Roots
The idea to create this non profit organization was based out of the work that many of our TEAM members and volunteers started in Brighton Michigan with the BAS Pack of Social Emotional Learning Dogs. Brighton Area Schools were the first public education district to develop a Social Emotional Support that include one or more dogs at each of their buildings/facilities. This nationally known program is how this vision became what it is today. For this reason, we consider Brighton our TEAM headquarters.
